Re: Fortune teller origami to the book

I recieved one entry to the chalenge by email. I like the clean visage of the model and quite tricky construction of the spin plates, the model is not symetrical. Re: Fortune teller origami to the book

I am sorry Gerardo about your news. The model in mentioned gallery looks really pretty the same as yours. But competition with master Momotani is mission impossible. Anyway, I have one good news - I finished a diagram for Joseph Fleming's bat. Some optimalization of the folding sequence was necessar...

Re: Fortune teller origami to the book

Thank you Gerardo for the video. Now it is very clean and looks fantastic. And the movie is good! :-)

I obtained one contribution to the challenge by email. I am waiting for the diagram. I will send here the picture after that.

I am sorry for silence, I was very bussy last days.

Re: Fortune teller origami to the book

My primary idea was that I will choose one model. I have no specific method or criterions how to choose one, but the most complex model is not a winner automatically. I would like to look on the folding sequence too, so please make a (photo)diagram. Maybe, I will choose more models, when I will see ...

Re: Fortune teller origami to the book

Actually, this new book will be direct follow-up of that mentioned book. Previous book contains some models by foreign designers as David Brill, Cupcake, Joseph Wu, Steven Casey etc. and all of them have their own copy of the book. It means that if someone will contribute to this sequel he/she will ...

Re: Fortune teller origami to the book

Gerardo: Let's set the deadline to 11.12.2015. You can use old models, but unpublished models will have higher priority. About the book: I published models based on fish base and pig base in previous book. I would like to continue with blintz base, kite base and (maybe) other. The chapter about blin...

Re: Fortune teller origami to the book

Exactly, any variation made from the fotune teller. Animal, box, decoration... I show my attempt, it is a decorational star. I also tried to design stegosaur and yes, it works, but it looks... different :-) You can also use just a basic principle of a fortune teller, I mean two times make blintz fol...

Are you 14?

If you make legs and arms directed to the other side and adds some details, it should looks like samurai from back and it will be very good model. Keep working!
