Has anyone ever tried folding 3.1 from that cp on flickr? I'm interested to know how close that cp is to the real one.

It depends on what kind of paper that you're after. If you want really nice handmade papers, you should look for an artist store. Michaels is sort of like an artist store but is really a craft store. You will know the difference when you see it. Otherwise, you may be lucky and have a paper store nea...

You could use print screen to save it as an image but Quentin's idea is better.

I have folded without adding size to tissue paper and it works fine. However, you would eventually need to add some kind of sizing agent to shape the model if you were folding the Ancient Dragon and wanted it to look like Kamiya's.

federicoh: Have you considered using gift tissue? That kind of paper is commonly found in sheets of 18" x 24" and can be found even larger. It is can be found in different weights but tends to be around 20 gsm (very rough estimate). Depending on the manufacturer, it can be somewhat fragile but you c...

Nice flowers Wizmatt. It looks like you took a lot of consideration into the proportions and pose of the model. I haven't posted here in quite some time but here's a model that I finished folding recently: Robert Lang's Pill Bug from <i>Origami Insects and their Kin</i> http://farm4.static.flickr.co...

Yes, use the Haga Theorems. The Origami Tanteidan website use to have a link here:

http://origami.gr.jp/People/CAGE_/divide/index-e.html

but the information is temporarily removed. Google them and you will find what you need to divide the square into any division.

I immediately thought of LaFosse's butterfly from Advanced Origami as well. It's that good. Also, it's not too hard to fold. Try folding it with paper that has a nice floral print!

This model was talked about before and, althought I don't remember exactly, I'm pretty sure it was stated that Ryo Kamiya's cerberus is not a modification of Satoshi Kamiya's cerberus. p.s. It's also not called a cerberus (only one head) but I can't remember the proper name. It has something to do w...
