thks for the pictures! Yes, my result is the same as yours. However, i was trying to figure out a way to repeat it all the time, which I finally did.
Gonna upload some pictures with some detailed steps in case someone else stucking at that step.

Hi All... I am back with this model... It has been a while since I last folded anything...so I am going to retry this amazing bull :-) I reliazed, that I am still stuck at the step 13-14...maybe that was the reason why I stopped folding that bull :-P Well....I am now motivated again... Hi all... I found another beautiful nice winged hat. are u sure by unfolding a model you know the sequence?!
I am barely able to refold a model after I unfold it......but of course...it makes it much easier to reconstruct the folding sequences...which means that would be for me the baseline for reverse-engeneering...

yes, I can confirm that...I used 20x20cm paper and the result was about 4cm only..

I like the wings to be bigger....makes me feel as if I can fly

I am afraid now...as the current result is way too small with 20x20...so 50x50..would turn our about double size of the current hat...and this is still too small.

I think it is fun for kids to wear ...just need to figure it out how large the paper should be....
20x20cm seems to be too little

probably at least about 1.5mx1.5m....hm.....
