Amir, I second InsomniacFolder - you should most definitely get in touch with Paul and Miri of the Israeli Origami Center - more than tips about paper and books, the Israeli origami community is thriving with some great talent - you will get a lot out of going to meetings and talking to them. As for...

Try contacting the Israeli Origami Center (see bottom of the page), the original publishers of this booklet.
I don't know what their overseas shipping policy is. But it's worth asking.

Maybe you're referring to "Origami Animals in the New Style" by Akira Kawamura (ISBN 4763630784). Seems to fit your description. Here's the cover: http://g-ec2.images-amazon.com/images/G/09/ciu/c2/2c/3407d0920ea032ff6be91210.L._SL500_AA240_.jpg It's out of print, but there are a few sellers offering...

Unfortunately, Kinokuniya also doesn't have it in stock. Looks like it's impossible to obtain at the moment... However, Momotani's book tend to re-appear with different names, and sometimes slightly different content. So hopefully we'll see it again some time.

I Aten't Dead! :P (There must be a few Terry Pratchett fans in this forum) Getting slowly back to folding after a long hiatus of doing other things. Still keeping an eye on the forum, and will update the website soon. Right now I'm enjoying the 15th Tanteidan convention book, and Origami Essence is ...

You guys rock. I really enjoy watching your work.
Just wanted to say that this model is indeed from a 16X16 square,
and the back is nicely closed.

Keep up the good work!

If you consider yourself to be an intermediate / high intermediate folder, I'd recommend to start with Origami for the connoisseur + Brilliant origami first. Nicolas' book is terriffic, but it does take some more manipulations and some sculpting to bring out the best in his models. Brill's book will...

Origami USA 2006 - Pictures!

Hi All, I've just uploaded hundreds of pictures from Origami USA 2006 convention to my website: http://www.giladorigami.com. All nicely sorted and captioned. And as a bonus - there's also a low-quality movie showing Yami Yamauchi's ring on a chain trick, as demonstrated by Doug Cane. See what's it a...

Found it!

Hi all,

I'm the 6th person to crack the code.

I couldn't have done it without Wolf's tips on this forum. Thanks Wolf!

You can do it today, too!

Remember - no math! If you find yourself adding 2 numbers together,
you're on the wrong track.

Just take a close look...

Good luck!
