Re: Satoshi Kamiya - Phoenix 3.5 (CP)

Wow, this is amazing O.o
I will be using tissue foil. I don't think I'm experienced enough for wax paper and every mistake there would result in an unfixable crease, likely to even break the paper.

Re: Satoshi Kamiya - Phoenix 3.5 (CP)

Hi guys, has anyone tried folding this with paper smaller than 50x50?
I have a really nice 35x35 sheet and am wondering whether to risk it trying this out only to find out it's impossible. Anyone care to weigh in?

Thanks!

Sorry about the avatar, I didnt know you were using it too, in fact I didnt realize this is probably some sort of copyright problem I just liked the picture (it's aweso...

Unicorn designs

Hi all and happy new year, I am looking for good unicorn designs I am particularly interested in how to find diagram for Quentin Trollip's model: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2374/2287981046_d977451734.jpg which is just awesome. Is it diagrammed anywhere? This is the thing that might really make m...

Hi, in fact I am currently wondering on the very same question. I managed to find some bases for the rose, but I am still looking for more. I'm not that interested into stems and leaves right now, although these could be very useful, too, but I rather need something more flat that allow me to expose...

After some refoldings, I should admit that I wasn't quite right. Folded from a new sheet (the one I first succeeded with was too worn out from previous attempts) the new rose DOES look significantly better than the simple one. I also concur that it's better locked, although the correct forming of th...

Oh, thank you :) With the help of those movies I finally managed to fold the rose and it's been a challenge for months already! Really great, thanks again :) Though truth to be told, I'm not really impressed with the result. It doesnt really seem all that better than the original Kawasaki Rose to me...

Help with threeheaded dragon

Hi, i'm sorry if there's already a topic on the matter but i didnt seem to find it with the search, so.. I'm currently onto Anibal Voyer's three headed dragon and I am stuck on the transition from step 63 to step 64. I'm not sure which layer of the head goes where. Could anybody provide further expl...

Why, partial rabbit ear sounds fine :P Do you have any other models of yours off the ones listed on your site gallery? They look very good, so if you have some of your design, I would encourage you to diagram them, too ;) Finally, i don't have a dollar banknote to compare... what is the ratio of the...

I didn't do it originally (as I couldnt really figure out why was it needed), but this didn't really make it easier  how does it hold steady for you? i have a feeling something in my final folds is wrong, because his leaf's base part doesn't really look like mine, i mean the part around the in...

Hi, I have this one question here... I managed to fold the old version of the rose, diagrammed at http://doftnet.net/?page=3&catnum=2 (thanks for that link :)) Then, while developing something stem-like, i decided to give a try to a calyx-stem-leaf composition that you can find here: http://www.geoc...

Thanks, i tried folding this one, using normal printer paper, but can't say I'm really impressed with the result. I'm not sure if I get the 6->7 step correctly, because it seems to me that the outer petals are obtained via forcing and crumpling the paper (I find it impossible to cleanly fold at that...
