I think I know how this fractal tree was made. Check this link, that's Ushio Ikegami's fractal pyramid. http://www.vishakha.org/gallery/OUSA2005/101_0119_IMG The tree is much simpler but it looks like being the same structure. And there's a diagram for Ushio Ikegami's fractal in a Tanteidan Conventi...

Hi isurus I really like your blog, very interesting. I just regret the photos are not very clear. I suggest you to take the time to place your models with a better lighting and a nice background, but that's just my opinion  Oh, and very nice to meet you too :) barlou :bookmarking you blog:

Hi, I don't know a lot about tanteidan magazine, I'll try to answer as much as I can since I'm a subscriber. There are lots of texts, that's right. Once I saw an article by Tom Hull which was translated to Japanese and also in English. Unfortunately, I've seen that only once, so I suppose it's rare....

I made something, it's a flying bird spitting fire. Unfortunately, I printed this image and forgot the name, maybe anybody does know its... It's a bit messy ( the head is far too big, leggs are too short, etc.) but it's only my third real design, so please be kind  http://img10.echo.cx/img10/2...

I'm folding Hojyo Takashi's Archangel Gabriel from CP, I think I'm at 80 % (made all the pleats, now I'm collapsing). It's a hard model, I have spent already 10+ hours on it, 2 only to divide my square in 64. I wonder how many people have folded it ... I'd like to ask them, if they noticed an error ...

I've finished it. It needs a lot of modelling but it's rather nice, and looks like an hydralisk. I was just wondering why all of you use the hand-drawn diagram. The other one is more clear (but still not very clear) and has a lot of explanations. Personally, I prefer this one (I tried those 2). It n...

Thanks for your reaction, happy you like it :) How easy is it to derrive from the "warrior with wings"? It's not this hard, though 2 things gave me some problem : the ball has to be rounded (difficult) and also, as the racket and the ball come from wings, the paper is hidding under the arms. A lot o...

I made a tennisman : it's a variation of Nicolas Terry's Warrior with wings . I used the left wing for the racket, the right one for the ball.
Also it's from a symmetrical model, but I managed to have something that looks not symmetric .
The racket is not box pleated.

Well, I see that more like a search of the limit of origami than a competition.
I stop too, I find I tried as little as I could.

In french, we say Le papier (male)

But for the sheet, we say La feuille (female)

Strange, isn't it ?

Well, Chris, I have to agree with you. I have had the same problem with the head with the 6 cm square : too large, can't reverse it proprely... but finally, I got a satisfied result : Mini Horses <left one is 7.5, right one is from a 6 cm square. What do you think of it ? I believe that 4 cm is poss...
