weigh down the corners with something the mc won't adhere to. it doesn't have to be heavy.

Re: RIP Artur Biernaki
thank you for doing this. i heard some time ago. i meant to resurrect his photo thread and post a memorial there, but have had my hands full. i did not know him, did not interact with him, but he was active on the board back when it was the major forum for origami. he was very active and a major res...

Re: OrigamiHouse Next Publication List
well, i wasn't hallucinating. at long last, hoyjo's book is being released. i picture it has gone through many iterations. it'll be out end of april. as stated, it will include previously released diagrams.

Re: Origami Tanteidan 2022?
for those wondering. usually the convention is in august. the deadline this year for submissions seems to be 9/30, though, so i expect the actual convention to be sometime in the fall.

Origami Tanteidan 2022?
is there going to be a convention this year? usually a call for diagrams has gone out by now. or i might have misunderstood last year's announcement, in i thought last year was gonna be a double edition, from the missed diagrams from 2020 (i.e., instead of a double edition, they're going to release ...

Re: Satoshi Kamiyas black kite in Tanteidan 24
lol sorry i only now saw this. generally speaking a useful tip when looking at "crease pattern" type instructions, is make sure your mountains are mountains (i.e., the paper is going away from you on either side of the crease) and your valleys are valleys (i.e., the paper is going towards you on eit...

Re: OrigamiHouse Next Publication List
don't mean to raise hopes. i don't know if takashi hoyjo's book is finally going to be published? i got a tweet/retweet from one of the origami accounts i follow, and it had a layout with his models. if it's happening, it is definitely following origami house tradition (i.e., lots of previously rele...

for those who are interested. i think there is an error in the diagrams. in step 16, the crease you form appears to intersect with a preexisting intersection. this is either a mistake or inconsequential. if your new crease doesn't intersect, don't worry about it. keep going, it won't make a differen...

Re: Thin Duo Colour Paper
You really only need a very thin coating. The airbrush makes it possible to work with tiny amounts of colour and still get amazing results. Airbrush colours are pretty expensive though, but you like I said, you only need a tiny amount. I've worked with them on ultra thin almost translucent rice pap...

yutako naito's skull is $8.00 USD on amazon or free if you subscribe to kindle unlimited and seems to fit your criteria. otherwise you will need to be more specific.
