I don't know about TreeMaker, but that Maekawa theorem concerns flat models.
If Nova CP is for a 3D shape, that theorem does not apply.

This model is 「つつじ B」 from 「花の飾りおりがみ」 by Fuse Tomoko. つつじ is azalea, which is a sub-species of rhododendron as far as internet told me. The book name translates roughly as "Origami flower decorations", but I don't think there is an English version of it. https://pictures.abebooks.com/isbn/...

Using an out-of-ink pen to mark a reference without coloring the paper is also convenient.bethnor wrote:another way to "mark a reference" is just use a pencil on the hidden side. purism aside

Re: A Function for Folding Odd-Numbered Grids?
The "obligatory" next question is what fraction each sequence needs to start at--unless it has to do with the primes' periodicity somehow. Does it really needs to start with a specific fraction though? Maybe I am mistaken, but here is how I understand it: after the last needed fold is done, you'll ...

I'm a bit curious about the life span of those origami, using milk (and the sugar one too) mixture.
Won't the milked paper get sour(?) (rotten?) after a while? Isn't it emitting a smell that might attract insects or other creatures?

Re: A More Efficient Way to Diagram Complex Models
You probably know about it already: there have been a few attempts in this field (some call it PCP, progressive crease-pattern) - but none has gone very far AFAIK.
Some examples on this page, search for "Progressive CP" to go to some linked resources (a few links are dead though).

so, is that rhinoceros diagrammed, and if so, whose is it? the translated table of contents doesn't have it listed. サイ:パク・ジョンウ It is a model from Korean creator Park Jeong Woo. I can't tell for sure because there is no detail, but it should be diagrammed (between pages 211 and 223? Page 224 is the ...

If no more people (or not enough for a 3-round tournament) signs up, maybe you can organize it in a pool(?) form? Not sure of the technical term though - I mean a way where everyone will pair with everyone else. For example with 4 persons A, B, C and D: 1st turn: A and B, C and D. 2nd turn: A and C,...

But if you really want to know whether there is an earlier version from a 1x2 rectangle I don't know anything about the author or history of this model, but I have seen it a few times (not in a $-using country) in different places (shops, restaurants, kindergarten...), and it was folded from 1x2 pa...

Well, I don't know about social media either, but you can upload your images to some free picture-hosting websites (I did it with imgbb.com here, although there are many other options).
