Insectoid - TheDeadSmellBad - 15cm foil paper

I was playing with boxpleating & ran across a really simple bug base.
I think it might work well for a pegasus too.

think Hideo's Giraffe is one of the best Origami Giraffe designs out there, but I have so far failed to fold it from the CP
Any hints you can give me?
I don't have any secret in folding this model. The Cp in Tanteidan magazine gives you the hint how to find the reference point of the CP. The
rest of crease was made by folding and drawing. I used to use refernce finder program by Dr.Lang (you can download at his site) to slove the CP, but I don't need it anymore because I have another quick method to play around.
Here are some other photos of the Kirin (Jirafa)

Nice. What kind of paper did you use for the unicorn?

thanks for your commends
Well, i'm not sure about the paper. It's kinda a special wrapping paper with a lot of wrinkles on it, very good for folding mamals and stuff like that, but suck in folding insects

Sometimes this paper is sold under the name "Pearlescent". However, as I've warned before, the same paper can be sold under different names at different stores.
Yes, I am that Joseph Wu. Not that it really matters. And please call me Joseph or Joe. "Mr. Wu" is my dad. :)

Yes, that paper looks interesting. Is it thin?

I've been experimenting with useful origami lately.
Check my site. What you think?
Greg, Grzegorz actually, but try to pronounce it
