Woah! That's just ! I really like how you did the pine tree, Victoria Serova.

romane : Sorry, but I don't really think that penguins are related to Christmas (they are more related to winter...)

Angry penguin? You got me interested here. I sure hope you'll post it somewhere on the forum though.

Nonsense! Post your designs, whether or not you hope to win or think you will. The main point of the design challenges is just that-to be a design challenge, not necessarily a competition. Post your designs-I am sure they are lovely and everyone would love to see them, and who knows-you still might win.

I'd have to agree with Jonnycakes on this one... please do submit something. It's my first time ever judging one of these and I'd like to have a lot of submissions to consider.

I don't see why you couldn't. Angels are very commonly associated with Christmas.

Holiday Star

Folded from a 15 cm square of white iridescent origami paper. 15 cm across.

Designed 12/19/2008 for an origami lesson for my mom's 5th grade class.
I ended up teaching them a highly simplified version due to time constraints.

I'll release diagrams in a few days…

I like the picture of the Holiday Star. Nice Symmetry, Contrast and sparkle.

Cupcake: Is the Rabbit a variation of the Index card Frog?

It looks like it is from a square.... I do a bunch of business card puppies to give away while I wait .... It'd be nice to do a Business card rabbit (hint :-)

Well, pretty much the only thing that they really have in common in the two front legs and the jumping hind legs (which is quite a bit, if yo think about it).
There is a CP on my if you want to have a go at it. It is indeed from a square
