Drumroll...
And the topic for the August challenge is...
"Cute"
It might sound easy at first, but I think it really is a challenge to create something cute in origami. That's probably why there is so little origami that really strikes us as 'cute' (and that's why I picked this topic).
The rules: fold something cute in origami. One sheet per entity, no cutting. It can be a baby, a kitten, puppy, or a cartoon character - or be creative and come up with something else! For the purpose of this contest I mean "cute" as in the adorable, innocent type of cute. The model which deemed the cutest by the judge will be the winner.

I think you mean Mekks. Brian didn't actually fold anything.
I've fallen down, and I can't get up.

He looks a little creepy without his eyes. Maybe you could uhh...cheat a little by drawing them on with a marker?

The chimp looks really cute Quentin. Nice work on getting the banana, but is it just me or does it look like its giving me the finger. Well anyway, is that a modification of your monkey? I cannot enter this contest because most of the stuff I create is borderline creepy not cute. Even Mark Kirschenbaum's teddy bear looks like it wants to suck someone's blood.
Whenever I do complex Origami I get this sinking feeling.
