GAH, don't remind me. Actually, even worse, I started a different one, hah. Both are at my dorm. My desk is becoming cluttered with failed attempts. I'm having a difficult time making the model locked in a 3-D form with the way I've arranged the limbs... I can't settle for anything less than what I want it to be, as long as it's taking, haha. I'm going to have to backtrack...

I'm new, but...
I'm new, but I'm proud of it... after folding over 300 cranes during the last couple of days.

The 20th is King Ghidorah from Godzilla.
The 19th is the deer/elk/whatever from Princess Mononoke, Shishigami.
No pictures of either of those on the website. I think I folded Shishigami before though.
17 and 18 are some shell skeleton that you can find on the site
And I think the last two were Godzillas (one American, one Japanese).

Reindeer by Satoshi Kamiya. Made for my Math teacher (who has yearly reindeer contests) In retrospect, this 23x23 inch poster-board type paper was a very, very bad idea to use. Ripped in a few hidden from site places, but I'm really happy how it turned out. I don't know if any previous makers noticed, but I improvised the back antlers after I gave up on the instructions Took about 3 hours per reindeer, but this is the first of the three that turned out.
And this is last year's entry, which I regret to say, didn't win haha (the tail is hidden from the shot) Took all of 2006 Christmas Vacation and created using the 3d animation program Blender.
