A gelatinous cube, heat-folded. The design is one that is traditional and long-established.

A few days back (before Cupcake has posted his) I've designed this Chuul. I didn't fold and post it right away because I had to make some suitable duo-colour paper first.
As Cupcake already mentioned a Chuul is more or less a very lobster-like creature. To make it a distinguishable model a main feature are the tentacles, so in my design I've focused on those, putting them along an edge to be able to colour-change them.

This (first attempt) was folded from a 32cm square of triple-tissue paper, one layer of red and two layers of yellow because with only one layer of yellow the red shone through too much and there was almost no contrast between the two sides.

Expect a CP to come to my blog during the next days :-)

Edit: Blog has been updated.

The other day i was searching for images of a kraken, and all of them showed jus a s a giant squid. So, trying to get a new form, that were not only a giant squid, i drawed this guy.

And in base of this drawing, i folded this kraken.

Do you still have some of that paper that you folded the Rainbow Ancient Dragon with? That would be perfect for this model!

Kukulcan, god of wind, mayan version of the aztec god, Quetzalcoatl. No, its not a dragon, its the "feathered snake". My design, actually, Its my favourite design. :)

Your favorite design, yet it's not on your blog? :o

Just kidding. Don't rush too much like I do, take your time. Great model, too! It has and Ancient Dragon style head, doesn't it?

Im still planning the entry for him. But I dont get yet the idea.
And humm, the ancient dragon head is the styile, and was the first idea, but it was hard to set with the full structure. I think my Kukulcan/Quetzalcoatl head its even more complex than kamiya's dragon.... jejejeje

My first attempt of a Siren. My model tries to get a siren half bird, half women, not half fish, half women.

So long as it is not the Kamiya Satoshi Ancient Dragon, and has not been already posted on the internet, dragons are definately encouraged ;-)
I once set up an origami PLC. But the business folded.

I wonder if I can do a dragon with multi pieces?

@ Fishgoth: send me your email (on messages), I will give you the Spinosaurus picture I captured from the video! ^__^
