Morgan, that horse looks more like a giant emaciated Dachshund.
But I love your headless horseman - the collar and cape are particularly nice.
Edit: I just looked at your gallery and saw that used your dragon as a horse. No wonder it looked funny.

Gahhhh I have been trying to design a cockatrice too, but I haven't come up with anything good yet. Yours looks pretty good, angrydemon-good job with such a hard subject! Although I think the legs could be longer, personally (that is what I have been struggling with).
