ODT8: Logan vs Crease -- Theme: Easter
So, are we gonna make threads for all of the duels for posting submissions and voting and stuff?
Also, I have a question: are we allowed to use rectangles? I suppose it can vary between matches, so for this one Grace and Undertrox can decide.

Re: ODT8: Logan vs Crease -- Theme: Easter
The rules I would have selected would be:: One sheet of paper, no cuts or glue any shape is fine.
However this can be a discussion between you and Logan as I think the theme alone is enough to avoid favouring one person over another.

Okay, can we get Logan to confirm he's seen this, then once he does you guys have a month to design your model.

Re: ODT8: Logan vs Crease -- Theme: Easter
Can confirm that I've now seen this and will begin designing my my model, as for rules I'm happy with you to use any regular polygon (square, rectangle, pentagon, triangle etc.) and no cuts, when it comes to glue I'd like to keep the option open of using methyl cellulose for shaping but can be flexible on this if you'd prefer. I'm also happy to allow multiple sheets for modular designs, but they'd have to be the same size and shape of paper and not use glue to hold them together. Look forward to seeing what you come up with, good luck!

Jesus Christ, post crucifixion by The Plant Psychologist, on Flickr
I designed a model of Jesus Christ as he came back, alive and with holes still in his hands.
Folded from an uncut square

That looks great! Been struggling a bit for an idea, got something in reserve but after seeing this I think I'll need to step up my game and come up with something better

Cutting it a little fine after having issues with flickr, turns out not using it for 3 years can cause some problems. Here's my submission, an egg basket:
Origami Egg Basket - designed by me by loganorigami, on Flickr
From 1 sheet of square paper.
Definitely not my best work but I'm just glad to be able to submit something, hoping we can go back to the original way of choosing categories next time.

This round is now closed. Whoever can put a poll up, please do that. Voting lasts one week.
I agree that the old method of choosing topics was probably better, as it allowed both people to choose topics that they liked, and it was also way less confusing to set up and confirm everyone had seen their topic.

Well, it seems NeverCeaseToCrease is through to the next round. Congratulations! I personally thought both the designs were pretty great, so well done to both of you.
