Thanks cupcake, I'm happy you like it.

I made half the head no clue what it was then, left it at a friends house for a couple weeks.
I went back & someone said it looked like a fruit bat.
So I kept with the idea, hoping someone else would see it too.

Yep, thats a fruit bat alright (although why is it carrying a pinecone away?)

I got origami design secrets, and I made the tree frog. Its a really really lovely model, not too difficult either. i really enjoyed folding it. Its now one of my favourite models :)

I also love that frog although it's not as easy to do as it seems from the first sight. but it's really a very neat model, one of the best frogs around :)

Hi I'm new here and I'm also completly new to folding :D

I have been folding for about 1 month (2 months if you count the hats and airplanes me and my daughter made before i got hooked :wink: )

I made these today and i must say im very happy with them (I'm just happy i managed to fold them :P ).

One of my origami colleage from Czech origami society also folded Lang's tree frog, from black paper (underlaid by foil). And my friend said: Yes, it is exactly what I saw some time ago on the road, black, run-over by some car, long time on the sun, mummified... :lol:
