Do you have a new source for this paper? I got some from http://handmade-paper.us/ some time ago, but they have had it on clearance for a while and they seem to only have a couple of colors left...

It is funny you say this because I too have become obsessed with it, it is my new favorite model to fold everywhere i go.David wrote: I think over the years I must have become near obssesive over this one model.
Dragon3 - Edwin Corrie - 15cm duo paper

Unisus (unicorn & pegasus) - Modified Dragon3 by Edwin Corrie - 15cm momgami paper

this was made with the same diagrams but I grafted some additional paper first, forcing me to start with a smaller square. The finished size if the model did not seem to suffer at all
Love the PegaCorn, where did you add the graft?this was made with the same diagrams but I grafted some additional paper first, forcing me to start with a smaller square. The finished size if the model did not seem to suffer at all
Diagrams or more info for that bit please, I am too lazy to work it out for myself
I was at a restuarant this evening, they had nice A3 menus, mine became a gratefully recieved Dragon 3!

Thank you
the graft is done on two adjacent sides one quarter the length of the edge, the vertex becomes a preliminary base.David wrote: Love the PegaCorn, where did you add the graft?
With the creator's approval I'd be happy to diagram or even make a video.David wrote: Diagrams or more info for that bit please,
That's were I got the paper too. Unfortunately I haven't found it anywhere else.malachi wrote:Do you have a new source for this paper? I got some from http://handmade-paper.us/ some time ago, but they have had it on clearance for a while and they seem to only have a couple of colors left...

I like the way you've done the little blue dragon too. I know David always adds his own touches when he folds this, and although I normally do my models "straight" they can look better with this kind of shaping.

Thank you very much Anna, I'll mail it to you if you likeorigami_8 wrote:Matthew, your Unisus is really very very sweet and folded from very nice paper too. Diagrams would of course be nice, also if I think that I could fold it after your description as well
the paper is really trippy, I have a bunch and never use it, it makes me nervous because it feels like fabric and even though the color and patterns are pretty it is almost impossible to find models the wont fall apart with it.
A thousand thanks!Edwin Corrie wrote: Approval granted!

Its like praise from the gods to hear a compliment from the creator. I apologize if that is an embarrassing admission. I am a nomad at the moment but I hope to post some sort of instruction soon.
I folded Jun Maekawa's "Doggie whose name is Mac"
I folded one from kami and wet-folded another one from Canson Mi-Teintes paper.

Very interesting comparison of two folding methods of the same model. Now it is clearly visible the main goal of each method: exactly following the object as in technical west paperfolding or skatch it as in traditional east origami.

Hi everybody !
I made a little pause since my last posts ....
But I'm still folding.
Today, I finished a Komatsu Lion from the CP ... (not very easy but really fun )
It was my first attempt to fold it ... I did it ! /
and I made a Gold Chocobo (oops .. Yellow Bird) (Kamiya) two days ago:
Lion is from a square from white A3 paper
Chocobo is from a square from white A4 paper
Colors and 'gold effect' are obtained with a trick of lights...
