The cobras are simply amazing. Forget the scales, they look very natural as they are. They must've been hard to fold and shape considering you used a 4cm large rectangle.

Yes, color change at the tongue but I used same color 2 sides paper so I painted the tongue :D

I agree, I don't see that adding scales would improve the model in any way other than as a technical excercise.

This way the focus is drawn to the excellent and evocative design of the head.

Similarly some may argue that the body is not exactly lifelike because it's ever so slightly too thin. But when, without having a picture to study directly, I think "snake" and visualise that in my mind, this model is almost exactly what pops in to mind.

It is the very essence of "snake" to me - thank you.
