The Wall-E is a CP? Thats odd, origami tanteidan requires that your diagrams are not published elsewhere before you submit something to the book, and yet the Wall-E CP is on his website, as far as I recall.

Hence my disappointment. I didn't figure that a freely available CP would be material for a Tanteidan Convention book. Again, I appreciate that Brian or Mr. Chan (whatever he is comfortable with) took the time to design and release the crease pattern at all, but I just assumed that in a Tanteidan Convention book it would have gotten diagrammed, at least partially. I'm still excited about the content of the book regardless.

Sounds like a few of us are disappointed if there is only the CP for Brian Chan's Wall-e.

Any generous soul willing to donate a little expertise to color code the CP with mountain and valley folds, and provide a little easier to follow guidance than the Youtube video?

Thanx,
Hank Simon

I just received my Tanteidan 14 today. Something that hasn't been said about the Wall-E is that it is included as the "crease pattern challenge." So it makes a little more sense. Its not like that is a completely uncommon thing in the Tanteidan magazines.

Origami Tanteidan Convention book # 14- Models ?

Quentin :
It's great to see your Orangutang in the book !
Would have enjoyed seeing your Chimpanzee 1.2 in there, as well, but perhaps in your next book !
May I wish success to all who cope with the mountains & valleys of Life,
with all its peaks & depths, as well as Origami .

Thank you all.
Congrats also to Jared and Anermak! Good job guys.
Hopefully that will inspire more people (from this forum) to diagram some of their stuff as well.
I havent received my copy of Tanteidan Magazine yet, hope the diagrams came out ok and good luck to anyone trying to fold the Orang Utan. It was difficult to diagram the face part.
Gordigami, the Chimp is still new design and not fully diagrammed yet, but I hope to have the diagrams published somewhere sometime!!

What about your cute lion that was on display at the OUSA convention? Do you plan on making diagrams for this one as well?
